Head of Diversity
Alika Vail considers herself to be a Creative. Some of her talents include dancing, writing, directing,
acting and producing. She has always found a way to combine her career as an educator with her love for the arts by once working as a Dance Coach to a high school dance team and teaching middle school children the process of writing, directing and producing an original stage play. She currently serves on the Board of WTF (Women's Theatre Festival) as their Head of Diversity and Co-Chair. She has created a Facebook Group (C.R.E.W.) that focuses on encouraging artistic works for people of color in theatre, film, music and other creative avenues in the Triangle area.

Some of her past works includes: producer of “Crumble: Lay Me Down, Justin Timberlake” by Sheila
Callaghan, dancer in “Goblin Market”, cast member in stage readings of “Disco Daze” by Annie Taft and “Colombo Calling: A Play From Sri Lanka” by Christina Bejan, and recently the assistant director/stage manager of “Men Always Leave” by Naima Yetunde-Ince.
