How does a group of college students effectively design and portray women who range in age from their 20s to their 70s? How can they embody the distinct cultural anxieties of different generations? Join the director, the costume designer and one of the actors involved with Radford University’s production of Rapture, Blister, Burn as they share their journey in staging this exploration of 20th century feminism.  Topics explored will include the vocal and physical tools used to accomplish characterizations, the research of the historical, political and social environments the characters would have lived in, and the design tools of line, color, texture and how they were used to age actors.
